Consulting

The staff members of the Australian School of Petroleum have considerable experience in key areas of petroleum exploration and production. They also have the breadth of expertise to handle large multidisciplinary projects. The School encourages consulting, which can range anywhere between an individual ASP staff member consulting to a company on a day rate, to applied research conducted by multidisciplinary teams at ASP. Clients include local and international companies and government agencies.

Short Courses for Industry Professional

The ASP offers continuing education to the upstream petroleum industry in two ways:

Academic Program Courses
Most courses in the School's normal teaching curriculum are open to external participants. Courses at fourth year and postgraduate level are taught in short course format, making them suitable for industry participants. Information on these courses is available here.

Industry Short Courses
School staff offer a spectrum of short courses specifically for delivery to industry professionals, and new courses may be developed on request. Further information can be found here.
