Modern Facilities

The Australian School of Petroleum is accommodated in a new modern spacious building with well-appointed laboratory, computer and lecture facilities, and extensive postgraduate and research areas. A 150m deep test well has been drilled to provide students with unique hands-on experience. Visualisation simulation technology enables student engineers and geo-scientists to build, explore and interpret computer models of the structure and properties of hydrocarbon reservoirs and to plan development schemes to maximise their recovery.
